Evaluate the Environment

We begin by understanding the instance before building tests. Applications, catalog experiences, workflows, roles, security rules, integrations, existing ATF coverage, test data, known defects, and upcoming changes form the baseline.

Prioritize Business Risk

We rank functionality by business impact, usage frequency, change frequency, security sensitivity, integration dependency, defect history, and manual validation difficulty.

Design the Test Suites

Testing is organized into maintainable suites rather than disconnected scripts: Catalog and Requests, User Access and Security, and Workflow and Business Logic.

Build Reusable ATF Coverage

Each automated path includes setup, test-data creation, positive and negative scenarios, role-based execution, assertions at meaningful stages, cleanup, and documentation.

Perform Manual Edge Testing

Manual testers probe unusual field combinations, repeated submissions, interrupted approvals, expired sessions, mobile behavior, concurrent updates, extreme values, keyboard navigation, and unexpected state changes.

Reproduce and Diagnose Defects

Findings include exact steps, affected users and roles, expected and actual behavior, relevant records, screenshots, failed workflow stages, suspected platform layers, severity, and retest requirements.

Validate Release Readiness

After fixes are deployed, we retest defects, run targeted and full regression, verify integrations and access, and document passed, failed, blocked, and known-risk outcomes.
